This Privacy Policy explains how KickItPicks.com ("we," "us," "the site") handles information when you visit. We keep it plain: we collect as little as possible, we don't sell your data, and this site is meant to be read, not to harvest you.

Information we collect

Server and usage data. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically logs standard technical data — IP address, browser type, device, referring page, and the pages you view — to operate the site, keep it secure, and understand general traffic.
Information you send us. If you email us (for example, a correction or a "Kicked it" photo), we receive whatever you include in that message. We use it only to respond and, for submissions, with your permission to feature them.
Cookies. The site itself sets minimal cookies. Third-party services we embed (see below) may set their own cookies.

These services may receive data or set cookies when you use our site:

Google Analytics (GA4). We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate, anonymized traffic — which pages are read, general location, and device type. It sets cookies and processes usage data per Google's privacy policy. You can opt out site-wide with Google's browser opt-out add-on.
Amazon. When you click an affiliate link, Amazon uses cookies to attribute any qualifying purchase to us. See our Affiliate Disclosure and Amazon's own privacy notice.
Google Maps / My Maps. Our companion maps are embedded from Google, which may collect data per Google's privacy policy.
Google Fonts. Fonts are loaded from Google's font service.
Vercel. The site is hosted on Vercel, which processes standard request data to serve pages.

How we use information

To operate and improve the site, keep it secure, respond to your messages, and — for affiliate links — to be credited for purchases. We do not sell your personal information.

Your choices and rights

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Depending on where you live (for example, under the EU/UK GDPR or the California CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, and to opt out of certain uses. Children
